The “My China Story” International Short Video Competition, launched in 2018, is an annual event sponsored by China International Communications Group (CICG) and organized by Xufang International Media. It aims to build an influential competition for foreigners to produce short videos about China, offer an inclusive exchange platform for international content creators and promote wide collaborative partnership network.
Over the past seven years, the competition has developed into a comprehensive international communication platform for new media that integrates foreign-language short video creation, annual competitions, themed competitions, screening events, seminars, and co-production. With the focus on “presenting China from foreign perspectives,” it has become a signature brand of CICG.
