China International Communications Group (ClCG) is an organization affiliated to the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), specializing in international communication. lts predecessor was the Bureau of International Press of the General Administration of Press of the Central People's Government of the People's Republic of China, founded in October 1949 under the care and direct leadership of Mao Zedong, Zhou Enlai, Chen Yi and other proletarian revolutionaries of the older generation.

ClCG has 21 affiliated organizations, with 26 overseas offices in 14 countries and regions. lt also supervises two national social organizations. lt annually publishes some 3,000 books in 40-plus languages and 36 periodicals in 14 languages, which are distributed in more than 180 countries and regions.
