On May 11, the launching ceremony of the 2021 3rd ‘My China Story’ International Short Video Competition hosted by the China Foreign Languages Bureau was held in Beijing.

Compared with the competitions in the last two years, the 2021 competition optimized the competition rules. The new treatment collection phase aims to encourage young creation teams. The new social topic aims at short video lovers and collects their works. Many new awards, including the individual rewards, are set. Gao Anming, Deputy Director and Editor-in-Chief of China Foreign Languages Bureau, said the short video producers could touch Chinese culture, reveal China’s development, record Chinese cases and share their Chinese experience from the third perspective. China International Publishing Group will take advantage of this competition to found a competitive and cooperative platform of telling Chinese story from the third perspective with Chinese and foreign academic circles, industry, producers and platforms.

Deng Hong, Deputy Director of the Information Office of the People’s Government of Guangdong Province and Lin Ruixi, Member of the Standing Committee of the Zhongshan Municipal Party Committee and Director of the Propaganda Department attended the opening ceremony.
